Erwin, a native of El Salvador, now lives in Los Angeles, California. He holds a BA in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Humane Letters from Southeastern University.

In ministry for over 30 years, Kim and her husband, Erwin McManus serve Mosaic, a community of faith in Hollywood, CA. Teaming together at Mosaic for 25 years, Erwin serves as the Lead Pastor and Kim serves as International Pastor. Kim lives by the creed of “mixing with Humanity in order to take Divinity as far as it will go.” She believes that Jesus is the LOVE of the world and that LOVE will win Los Angeles.
Kim helps lead a community of artists and dreamers in teaching and preaching. She travels internationally as a speaker. Growing up in poverty and raised in foster care, HOME is a key theme in Kim’s work in Los Angeles and internationally.
Kim brings justice to the poor through her partnerships with Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles where she serves on the Board of Directors. Founder of SHE Community & Director of Awaken Humanity.
She is a graduate of Gardner Webb University with a BS in Education, and has a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Married to Erwin for over 30 starstruck years, they have raised 3 kids, Paty, Aaron and Mariah and two grand kids, Stevie and Mia. She is one happy human.
